THE MOULIN BARBOTTE (BEEKEEPING – MINI FARM – SNACK)
description
At the Moulin de la Barbotte, a beekeeper welcomes you on a three hectares property surrounded by nature, near the Noxe (river). The Moulin Barbotte was built by the Benedictine monks who worked for the abbey of Nesle la Reposte
In the park, you will find a space dedicated to bees. The Bee Kiosk which is an exhibition space with very educational panels on the functioning of the hive, the role of the different bees which compose it, there are also videos, and finally you will be able to admire the “AbeeScope”: it is a glazed hive to observe the work of bees.
In this space surrounded by water (between the Noxe and the Bief) that they called the Children’s Island, they installed a number of games for children to play. On this island, children will be able to interact with some of the animals of the mini farm.
Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., you will find a snack-type offer for lunch.
One Friday a month, the Moulin Barbotte organizes evening shows with meals in a natural amphitheater.
