Winegrower since 1992 in the heart of the Sézannais hillsides at Barbonne-Fayel on the Champagne tourist route. The La-Bar-La-Bonne brand was created in 2008 in symbiosis with the village’s history.

Bar Sous Bois, a fortified village and jewel in the crown of the Champagne county, became Bonne under the influence of Thibault IV de Champagne. As the village was under the influence of the Knights Templar and their nearby commandery, the inhabitants decided to build sickhouses on the territory to welcome back Crusaders stricken with strange diseases from the East… Hence La Bar La Bonne.
