The Castle of Montmort is of a real interest, not only through its architecture which makes it look so incredible that it seems to be coming out of a tale, but also through the women who played a very important part in its history.
Two ladies - Jeanne Des Noyers and Jeanne D’Hangest - had this castle built on the ruins of an old fortress.
