Champagne is made of 3 types of vine : Chardonnay, for its sharpness and elegance, Pinot Noir, for the strength and generosity, and Pinot Meunier, for its bouquet and fruity taste.
How can you recognize the 3 types of grapes?
Chardonnay is a white grape, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier are both black grapes.
A little trick to make the difference between them :Pinot Meunier takes its name from the white down you can see on young leaves and grapes, just as though the miller has sprinkled flour on them.

You may taste a wide range of Champagne because, just like red or white wines, every Champagne has their own history.
